The Last Supper Tour

Few paintings have been the object of such fascination, awe or just plain admiration. When you finally get to stand in front of Leonardo da Vinci’s monumental masterpiece you’ll see why.

That’s also why tickets for the Last Supper sell out months in advance with many disappointed people turning up hoping to enjoy that once-in-a-lifetime experience. To preserve the work of art entrance is limited to one group every fifteen minutes.

On this tour you will have a guaranteed entrance with your guide at a set time. Before you enter what was once the monks’ refectory where the painting has always been housed your guide will give you a great grounding to help you appreciate the magnificent achievement. Once inside the hall and after you exit you will also discover the secrets behind the facial expressions, the hand gesture and the body language that make this painting one of the most radical of all times.  After that you can besiege your guide with all those unanswered questions you still may well have.

Providing there is no religious service is on in the adjacent Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie your guide with then complete the picture with a guided tour of this Milanese jewel of a church and end in the delightful cloister at the back.
